Conversation is rolling
We have a smoko twice a day at my office, morning smoko at 10:30 and afternoon smoko at 15:30. (Smoko is an Aussie slang. It means smoke or coffee break.) People come and sit around a big table behind our office for having a coffee/tea break. I see them enjoying chatting rather than coffee.

Imagine 7-10 people are sitting around a table and chatting. It is not a meeting, you know, so they speak as they like. People sitting one side are talking about one thing, while people sitting the other side are talking about the other thing. Then, in another moment, all are discussing a particular thing, then, after a while, the topic is split again. Conversation is always rolling.

When I listen to their conversation, I have to know what they are talking about. Once I realize the topic, I can follow their conversation even if I could not fully catch their words. However, chatting at smoko is rolling fast, the topic is always changing. It is too fast to follow.

Anyway, practical English is something like this. I need more practice.
